A Fabulous Quality Coromandel Tea Caddy by Frederick Jenner and Fabian James Knewstub of 33 St James's
Street, London, (Circa 1856-1862). The dome topped box adorned with intricate gilt bronze straps, hinges and mounts incorporating swing carrying handles to the sides, enriched with foliate engraving. The inset lock plate inscribed BRAHAM LONDON. The interior fitted with two domed tea canisters labelled 'Black' and 'Green' flanking a mixing bowl aperture, lined in ultra-marine velvet with royal blue moiré silk lining to the lid, and an engraved maker's plaque. 8½ ins (21.5 cms) high 13 ins x 7 ins (33 cm x 18 cms).
