LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY OAK CASED, 30 HOUR, LONG CASED CLOCK, marked: Josh Marshall of Leicester,
having flat canopy to the hood with square aperture, pointed arch, waist door on a panelled base with later plinth. 10'' square brass face with Roman numeral chapter ring, arched date aperture and foliate scrolling to the central field with pierced brass spandrels, single train, 30 hour movement striking on one bell. 80cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT). Condition: Overall in fair condition for age, very grubby the case basically complete although having some losses and damage to moulding in places. Includes pendulum and one weight.
